CASE CN-1105 · THREE ACTS · ONE MISSING PAGE

THEY FILE EVERY STORY

The weekly tape is bait. Aliens, banks, pills, the sky — the collection keeps two hundred headings so nobody reads the reserved sheet. PAGE MISSING names the building.

A cutout waits on the lot. A clerk is already gone under the asphalt. A turned agent still talks in the hangar. Hesitate and the map will ping the next heading.

If you hesitate, the lot marks the next heading. If you believe only one file, they have already written you as weather.
